High above Easton

A stone's throw from the ancestral home of Jim Brose, founding member of the Catskill Golf & Poker Club, The Club at Morgan Hill commands a strategic position over Easton, Pa. and the Delaware River Valley.

It's a tough course, too. Damon Chapman, Brose and I played it from the back tees, and struggled all the way around a slow march up and down the hills on a very hot day.

My highlight was hearing Brosey compliment my new found distance with my Titanium Wilson driver. But my iron-play was so poor, and my chipping so horrendous, that I bought new irons after the round.

Jim Brose tees off on his home course.
